Anna Ilg is Vice President of Governance, Risk & Compliance at Rule4. With nearly two decades of experience in information security, governance, and compliance, she is a respected advisor and thought leader. Previously, Anna was a Senior IT Security Analyst in financial insurance before moving on to serve multiple national colocation, cloud, and managed services providers in compliance and security director roles and ultimately as the Chief Information Security Officer.

Anna is passionate about solving technical challenges and executing security strategy in leading-edge technical solutions, and is known for leading large-scale design, implementation, and migration projects in areas such as architecture, compliance, security operations centers, cloud and managed services, back-end SaaS integrations, security awareness training, policy, and vulnerability management. Anna brings her experience as a CISO in leading cybersecurity direction and building security, compliance, and privacy programs.

Anna regularly speaks in educational and industry settings on topics including cybersecurity trends, cloud security, information and technology strategy and industrial and organizational psychology. She also finds joy in mentoring new college graduates or students who are looking for direction in the field of IT and cybersecurity, and she is a positive influence inspiring more women to seek leadership positions. She is a member of ISACA Nebraska, and a former president of the ISC2 Omaha Chapter.

Outside of work, you can find Anna jet skiing at the lake, landscaping, or hanging with the family.
