Max Broaddus

ENGINEER

B.S., Cybersecurity (Metropolitan State University); FEMA NIMS ICS

Max Broaddus credits his many late nights playing with Linux machines as the spark for his career in cybersecurity. He has a strong interest in penetration testing as a tool to help clients identify and remediate vulnerabilities in their applications and IT infrastructure before attackers find them. Max is also intrigued by industrial control systems and the unique challenges involved with keeping them secure. Prior to joining Rule4, he provided IT support for a Boulder-based motorsports company.

Max is an Eagle Scout and native Boulderite who grew up in his family’s used bookstore. In his free time, he loves to explore both urban and wilderness environments, and as a former chef, he loves cooking and still travels often for food experiences. He also enjoys fixing things, especially cars, and is passionate about music, especially Frenchcore. He keeps his cybersecurity skills sharp by participating in capture-the-flag events.
