Viktoria Meyerhoff

ASSOCIATE ENGINEER

M.S., Technology, Cybersecurity, and Policy (in progress, University of Colorado Boulder), B.S., Mechanical Engineering (Purdue University), B.S., Business & Supply Chain Management (Indiana University); PMP, FEMA NIMS ICS

Before moving to Boulder to join Rule4 and complete her master’s degree in cybersecurity, Vik worked in project management and engineering roles at Rolls-Royce, Samsung, and an independent cryptography and security testing lab. In these roles, she assessed security architecture and implementation of IT solutions, drafted security policies, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to complete testing and implementation projects. She thrives on troubleshooting and providing technical expertise in fast-paced environments, and is driven to continue learning and adding skills to her arsenal.

In addition to her role at Rule4, Vik is teaching astronomy at the University of Colorado Boulder. In a previous role at CU, she assisted with spectrum-sharing research and was published in the Biophysics Journal.

Vik grew up in Homburg, Germany, and has traveled extensively. She’s happy to be settled in Boulder, where she attends the Boulder Linux Users Group and is a regular at Boulder Bike Night.

When she’s not reading and writing poetry, she’s pulling off fun tech projects such as building a high-altitude balloon payload with a RickRoll and sending it into space, thereby RickRolling Planet Earth.
